O what fire and brimstone has become us
How blind we have been to its arrival
Foreseen by our very actions of old
Disregarded in obscene ignorance
Such blazes and hellscape now surround us
With darkness and grief our future is filled
Solace and refuge nowhere to be seen
What was our sight has become our blindness
Alas, what has befall’d can’t be lifted
Subjects of our own vile experiments
Too late was it realized what was done
The world destroyed, hope evaporated
But time turns back, a chance given anew
What hope is there but what is found in you?
